Leadership and Delegation
Our RNs supervise and delegate tasks to other healthcare professionals, such as Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) and Personal Support Workers (PSWs), they provide guidance and support to other healthcare professionals.
Assessment and Care Planning
Our RNs conduct initial and ongoing assessments of clients' physical and emotional needs and develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
Education and Support
Our RNs provide education and support to clients, families, and caregivers on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions, and encourage client independence and self-care.
Medication Administration
Our RNs administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals and monitor medication side effects, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
Communication and Collaboration
Our RNs communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care.
Wound Care and Management
Our RNs assess and manage wounds, including dressing changes and wound cleaning, and implement wound care protocols, providing education to clients and families.
Documentation and Record-Keeping
Our RNs maintain accurate and up-to-date client care and progress records, and document medication administration, vital signs, and other relevant information.
Vital Signs and Health Monitoring
Our RNs take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, and monitor and report any changes in client health status, including signs of infection or deterioration.
